I’ve been using Instagram so a number of years now and what strikes me most in recent times is the number of Post that come in from certain people who I follow and the Post are almost exactly the same as the last one that I received from them only five minutes ago.
You might ask why have I followed this person in the first place? Well firstly I made a mistake and bought a piece of software that claimed it would build a targeted following for me and surprise surprise, it didn’t. Since then I’ve wasted an awful lot of time trying to clean my follower list and get rid of these type of Poster who in an older age would have been described as e-mail spammers.
So I am where I am and it occurred to me to try to find out exactly what the game is and whether this is a good Instagram marketing strategy. Let’s first of all discuss what’s happening.
These distributors of multiple Posts are using software and effectively playing a numbers game that says “If I have the greatest number of Buy Instagram Followers UK and the greatest number of Posts then someone somewhere will listen to what I’ve got to say or more importantly, that someone somewhere will buy the product that I am promoting.
These Poster (if that’s the right word) have more than one Instagram account so that they can send out the same Post on each account, they use software (similar to the thing that I bought) to build their Instagram following and that same software will generate random Post based on a selection of keyword phrases. In essence this means that the Poster has effectively automated their whole Instagram marketing.
Attached to their Posts will be links to various affiliate products where if you the reader click and buy, then they will make a commission. That’s it, just Post as often as you can to as many people as you can and someone will buy, income while you sleep, but is it a good earner?
Well it is for the guy who set it up, and I don’t mean the Poster that I’ve been describing. You see, this Poster has bought into one of the products being promoted, probably called something like “How To Make $000’s Wit Instagram”. And it’s the guy who made this product that’s laughing all the way to the bank.
Not only does this guy make money from the sale of the product, his customer then takes on the role of salesman and builds more sales for this product developer and so on and so on. The product developer slowly but surely builds an army of people working for him, selling his product and no doubt the product developer also built and sells the Instagram friend adder software too.
Can you imaging a business like this? You design a piece of software, you then make a product guide telling people how to use it your software and then you start to sell it. You sell the product guide, you sell the product and every customer that buys both and applies the instruction, you get a salesman working for you on a commission only basis.
For the guy at the top, it’s money for old rope but do you want to be one of those in the middle, jamming the Instagram “airwaves” with spam and making somebody else rich? I don’t.
